New effects can be added to Chasys Draw IES using plug-ins. Some plug-ins are bundled with it, but you may add your own if you wish. Effects exposed by plug-ins can be access through the menu Effects > External Plug-ins.
This is the interface through
which you access the various plug-in based effects. Just select the effect and click "connect" (or just double-click).
Chasys Draw IES supports Adobe Photoshop 8BF filters via the Photoshop 8BF for IES plug-in. Please note that not all 8BF filters will work - Adobe locks some of its plug-ins and some details of the 8BF format seem to be very well kept secrets.
